Plunge Pools Direct manufactures its pools in Victoria.
Because we precast the pools in moulds, you cannot increase or decrease their size. However, we do offer different models with varied depths.
Villa Plunge Pools combines customer orders and delivers 5–6 pools at a time to Perth by road train. As a result, transport becomes faster and more efficient.
Plunge Pools Direct is the only manufacturer to offer crystal glass mosaic tiles, along with standard ceramic mosaics.
The top edge of your pool may have slight imperfections from the moulding process. To improve the look and durability, we recommend coping tiles. This option not only enhances style but also protects the concrete from wear. Finally, we can easily add coping tiles to your pool.
We can install your pool in ground, above ground, or semi-inground. For all installations, we support the base on either a concrete slab or 100 mm of compacted road base.
If you install the pool 1200 mm above ground, you may, for example, use the external wall as part of your fencing. However, this depends on the plumbing and skimmer box placement, since these can be climbable. In most cases, two-thirds of the pool wall acts as a barrier, while customers place plumbing and the skimmer box under a pool deck.
No, you cannot attach a fence or deck directly to the pool. We do not design our pools to be weight-bearing, and direct fixing would void the warranty.
We provide a 7-year structural warranty with every pool.

Plunge Pools Direct are the only manufacturer to offer popular crystal glass mosaic tiles as well as standard ceramic mosaic tiles.. Plungie can also supply a waterproofed raw concrete internal or an Aqualux pool liner this is a great option. Due to the pools advanced engineering, the pool can be placed at ground level and does not need to have the base of the pool supported.
Due to the nature of precast concrete, the top edge of your Plunge Pool Direct pool is not an architectural finish. There will be slight imperfections caused by the moulding process. To maximise the aesthetic appeal and longevity of your Plunge Pool Direct Pool we highly recommend the use of a coping tile. This will not only improve the look but also help protect the concrete from wear and tear. Coping tiles can easily be added to the pool.
Plunge Pool Direct Pools can be installed fully in ground, above ground or semi in ground. For all installations the base of the pool needs to be supported by either a concrete slab, or 100mm of compacted road base.
If the pool is installed 1200mm above ground, you may be able to use some of the external pool wall as part of your pool fence. This will depend on where filtration plumbing and skimmer box is positioned, as these tend to be climbable. In most cases 2/3rds of the pool can be used as the pool barrier, with customers positioning the filtration plumbing and skimmer box under a pool deck.
Our pools are not designed to be weight – bearing. Direct fixing to the pool will avoid the manufacturers warranty.
A 7 year manufacturer’s structural warranty comes with every pool.
